Financial aid for learning Korean at SNU Language Education Institute

Provides financial aid (part of the course fee) for international students in College of Humanities who needs to take Korean courses at LEI
Program Outline
Eligibility
  • - International students in College of Humanities (registered undergraduate and graduate students)
Selection and Conditions of the Aid
  • - Applicants considering the student’s needs of taking the course
  • - If the student participated in the Korean language learning program at CHIO, the student will get incentives
  • - Financial aid will be provided after the attendance certificate (90% or more)is presented
Amount of the Aid
  • - Up to 50% of the cost (limit 1,000,000 won)

Necessary Paperwork

For the application of the program
  • - Attach a file containing an account fo the necessity of taking Korean coursre at LEI, current status concerning the studies in Korean language(courses taken, etc)
For the payment of the aid
  • - Receipt of the course fee from LEI
  • - Certificate of attendance (90% or more) from LEI
  • - A copy of bankbook in the name of the person taking the course
